The People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Sindh is a non-profit organization established by the Government of Sindh, Pakistan in 2007. The aim of PPHI is to provide quality primary healthcare services to the people of Sindh, particularly those living in rural and remote areas who have limited access to healthcare facilities.

People Primary Health Initiative works with the government and other stakeholders to implement innovative approaches to healthcare delivery, with a focus on community-based healthcare. The organization operates a network of more than 1,200 primary healthcare facilities across Sindh, providing a range of services including basic medical care, maternal and child health services, family planning, and diagnostic services.

People Primary Health Initiative has received international recognition for its innovative approach to healthcare delivery, including the World Health Organization’s Public Health Champion Award in 2016. The organization continues to work towards its goal of improving the health outcomes of the people of Sindh and serving as a model for healthcare delivery in Pakistan and beyond.
