The Directorate of Hajj is a government agency in Pakistan responsible for organizing and facilitating the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, known as Hajj. The agency is under the control of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
The main role of the Directorate of Hajj is to provide all necessary services and facilities to Pakistani pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia for Hajj. These services include transportation, accommodation, food, medical care, and other amenities required for the pilgrims to perform their religious duties in a comfortable and safe manner.
The Directorate of Hajj also works closely with the Saudi Arabian government and other international organizations to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Hajj pilgrimage. It maintains a close liaison with the Pakistan Embassy in Saudi Arabia to provide assistance to Pakistani pilgrims in case of any emergency or difficulty.
