The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) is a regulatory college established in 1962 by a special act of the Parliament of Pakistan to oversee the postgraduate medical education and professional development. It offers certifications following postgraduate training in specialties of medicine, surgery and dentistry. It is the only postgraduate medical examining body in Pakistan.
The CPSP has its headquarters in Karachi and has regional offices in Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta and Multan. The college has a membership of over 20,000 doctors and dentists.
The CPSP offers a number of postgraduate medical courses, including:
- Master of Medicine (MMed)
- Master of Surgery (MS)
- Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS)
